School Activities:
Our English Department organizes a large variety of activities for our students every year so as to arouse their interest in learning English.
Here are some photos showing some activities our students have been enthusiastically taking part in.

School Open Day
On the school open day, a drama play “Mid-Summer Night” was performed by our students and teachers.
Two stall games were designed for our guests. The first game was “Boggles”. Some color chips and a card were given to the guests, and they needed to follow the instructions on the card and put the color chips into the correct order. The other game was “Scrabble”. Guests were given a name of a category, and they needed to make three or five words of items included in that category within one minute.

English Morning Assemblies
To celebrate Christmas, our Native-speaking English Teacher, Mr. Boswell, and some F.5 students led other students to sing three Christmas carols in the English morning assembly. The three Christmas songs were “Silent Night”, “Jingle Bells” and “Away in a manger”.

Drama Performance
Our F.5 students joined the English Drama Variety Show last year and they gave a fascinating performance of “Mid-Summer Night Dream”. They spent two months training and rehearsing at school before the competition.

F.2 Fashion Show
A fashion show was held among F.2 students last year. They were divided into groups and were given materials to design their costumes, with at least one model in each group. The models walked along a catwalk in front of teachers and students in the competition, and others in the group gave a presentation to introduce their stylish costumes.

English Week

English Week is organized every year. Teachers and student helpers design some interesting and meaningful stall games for the whole school to participate in. It is full of fun and produces great English-speaking atmosphere. There is also an English Karaoke competition for teachers and students to sing English songs on the stage. All students enjoy using English around the school during the week
